CHALLENGE

Our NYC-based client was looking for a unique low-touch way to bring their remotely distributed team together as the city was opening back up after COVID.  They wanted a way to help their colleagues “fall back in love with New York” and reconnect with each other. 

The challenge was to create a self-service passive activation that would be entertaining, interactive, and allow for flexible participation with the goal of getting employees away from their screens and desks. Additional criteria included:

  • 1,000+ attendees

  • Evergreen activities

  • Completely inclusive to all employees and their families

  • Flexible schedule

SOLUTION

Bash curated a hybrid, choose-your-own-adventure experience centered around the expansive culinary scene to encourage team members to explore their city and its many boroughs and neighborhoods independently or with other colleagues.

We delivered this hybrid experience by creating a virtual dashboard with a collection of unique challenges and custom on-demand content paired with activity guides that inspired real-life activities.

This included a Farmer’s Market Spotlight with tips & tricks from a celebrity Chef, an Adventurous Eater Challenge, and a collaborative custom map of The Best Thing I Ever Ate as well as highlighting unique sightseeing opportunities right in their own backyard.
