Event Producer - FULL TIME

Bash Creative is a boutique event production agency that is growing quickly in portfolio and team.  Every day at Bash Creative is different and the daily and weekly tasks change continually.  It is extremely important to be adaptable, agile, and eager to learn.  We are looking for a full-time Event Producer who is energized by our values, work, and goals and will contribute to each with enthusiasm.

An Event Producer for Bash Creative is a dynamic and challenging position. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing small to medium corporate events from conception through execution. 

Your day-to-day work location is flexible as the position is remote but you must reside in the continental US. 

Mandatory work hours will be 8am-2pm Pacific Time with an additional 10-15 hours per week of flex working time. You should also understand that the events industry is a high-energy, seasonal, and project-based industry. It is part of the thrill and excitement you can't get in other careers. This means your hours will have to flex up to 60 hours in a week or work through a weekend. However, there will be other weeks when your workload and hours will be lighter. It is our goal to help you achieve balance, ensure you get time for PTO, and avoid burnout.

Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include project management of all aspects of event production before, during and post-event to include but not limited to:

  • Partnering with clients to understand business objectives, solidify event strategy, and overall exceed expectations of working with a third-party planning agency

  • Vendor search, contracting and negotiations

  • Establishing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships, especially those with our vendors and partners

  • Working with Senior Event Operations Manager to manage hotel room blocks or registration as needed

  • Managing and updating all deliverables such as; project plans, agendas, meetings, budgets and communications

  • Recognizing, analyzing, and solving challenges in a clear and direct manner

  • Professionally representing Bash Creative at all times while working remotely or on-site with the ability to embody our values of respect, quality, and agility

  • Commitment to continual learning, understanding industry trends and bringing the best solutions to our clients

  • Embracing and engaging in the Bash Creative culture of community

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience leading programs in the Event Industry

  • A background in full service event planning with knowledge in a wide range of the areas it takes to execute successfully. This may include food and beverage, audio visual, decor and entertainment, transportation, trade shows, staffing and more 

  • Must have the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, critically think, and approach all tasks with a high level of energy and enthusiasm 

  • An exemplary communicator with exceptional relationship management skills who can foster a positive, collaborative work environment  

  • Ability to manage multi-faceted teams consisting of clients, vendors/partners and contract producers  

  • Possess strong project management and organizational skills and be extremely detail-oriented  

  • Resourceful and effective time management with the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines with prompt, clear responses and delegation skills is essential

  • Strong experience in data and budget management (into the millions of dollars), preferably with proficient knowledge in formulas 

  • Passionate about problem-solving and thinking “outside of the box”

  • Proficient in Google Workspace (GMail, GCal, Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc) and Slack
