CHALLENGE
Returning for our third year as the planning partner for Figma’s Sales & Marketing Kickoff, we knew we had to exceed expectations once again. With Figma’s brand recently evolving into a more elevated yet playful identity, this SKO needed to reflect that transformation through branded environments, immersive experiences, and intentional details that celebrated and reinforced their company culture.
Beyond the high expectations, this event brought a new challenge for our team (we always welcome these with open arms.) Hosted at a modern Las Vegas hotel amid an active workers’ strike, we faced last minute changes that demanded agile problem solving skills to uphold our high standards.
SOLUTION
When we learned just one month before the show that we would be navigating a strike, we did what we do best - leaned in as a supportive partner to the hotel. We worked alongside their limited staff to help deliver a high level of service. Having faced similar challenges before, we knew that leading with kindness and empathy is the best way to ease high-tension situations. Our partnership inspired team members to go above and beyond even when already stretched thin.
Fueled by this positive energy along with surprise-and-delight moments (from live band karaoke to execs dressed as Elvis) we elevated the experience, creating a memorable and inclusive experience for over 600 attendees from around the globe.
