Graphic Designer Contractor


We are looking for a Graphic Designer Contractor for both internal and client projects. In this dynamic role, you will work on a variety of corporate client and Bash Creative projects.  The estimated workload is 5 - 10 hours on average per week.  Proficiency in quick delivery and editing of work is critical in this role. There is no end date to this engagement and opportunity to take on more if the relationship is a good fit.  

Requirements

  • A degree in graphic design is advantageous, but not required.

  • MUST have 5+ years of relevant work experience as a professional graphic designer in at least one of the following fields: 

    • In-house graphic design services, ideally for an innovative company  

    • Packaging design agencies

    • Brand agencies

    • Book, magazine, and newspaper publishing companies

    • Digital or Multimedia companies

    • Marketing or Advertising agencies (both Social Media and Print)

  • MUST be proficient in and have access to the Adobe Creative Suite programs of Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with PremierPro is beneficial but not required. 

  • MUST be proficient in Google Suite (GMail, GCal, Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc) and Slack. 

  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and approach all tasks with a high level of respect, quality and agility.

  • MUST be capable of creating a logo and brand identity for corporate events

  • MUST be able to create a deliverables timeline and meet or exceed delivery dates.

  • Some experience in live event signage and branding

  • Some experience with creating and designing presentations for event content on screen or virtual

  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Exemplary and timely communication skills that foster a positive, collaborative work environment

  • MUST review and sign an NDA


Responsibilities may include working on any or all aspects of event production and vendor management before, during and post-event. This may include but is not limited to:

  • Working with and advising the Bash Creative team on design and production of assets 

  • Developing print and/or digital creative assets for client shows (virtual, hybrid, and in-person)

  • Developing creative assets for various Bash Creative print and/or digital projects 

  • Liaising with external printers to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.

  • Answering emails professionally within 24 hours.

  • Participating in regular calls with Bash Creative team, the frequency will vary depending on workload 

  • All communication and direction will come from the Bash Creative team and this position will not be liaising directly with any clients unless discussed and approved ahead of time.
